Proposed UDO and Zoning Changes

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), Master City-Wide Zoning Map, and Master Land Use Map

Notice is hereby given that the City of Ward will hold public hearings on August 14, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm and on August 16 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in the Ward Municipal Complex Dining Room, 405 Hickory St, Ward, AR.  The purpose of these hearings is to review and receive feedback on a proposed Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) which will replace existing subdivision and zoning ordinances/regulations which were implemented in the 1990s.  The UDO will also replace certain other Ordinances implemented that pertain to zoning, development and land use.
