NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed ARDoT Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Project – Sidewalk crossing at the Moore Railroad Crossing in Ward, Arkansas

Notice is hereby given that the City of Ward will hold a public hearing on May 21, 2024 from 5:30 to 6:00 pm in the Ward Municipal Complex Council/Court Room, 405 Hickory St, Ward, AR.  The purpose of these hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed project to be presented to The Arkansas State Highway Commission 2024 Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and the Recreational Trails Program (RTP).  The project, if approved, will create a sidewalk crossing across the Moore Street Railroad Crossing and down Moore Street to Highway 367.   See map below.   For additional information, contact Mayor Gastineau at 501-843-7686 or via email at mayor@cityofward.com.
