SRTS Phase IV (Sidewalks)
Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Phase IV is a continuation of the city's long-term goal of extending sidewalks under the federal SRTS program (now Transportation Alternative Program (TAP)). This project is projected to cost approximately $144,000 with the ARDoT paying $100,000 and the city paying $44,000.
Part 1 of Phase IV will extend the existing Phase II sidewalk down Wilson Loop from the corner of Wilson Loop and Moon Road to the west end of Gold Meadow.
Part 2 of Phase IV will extend the existing Phase III sidewalk down Chantileer to Castleton and then down Castleton to Green Apple where is will tie in with an existing Phase III portion.
